Terms & Conditions

1. About the Service

Bakshish (“Service”) is a cashless tipping platform that lets guests send voluntary tips to service providers via a QR code and online payment.

2. Parties

  • Operator:Nopasanada OÜ, Registry code: 16839644, Address: Parda tn 3/5/7, 10151 Tallinn, Estonia, email: bakshish@bakshish.eu
  • Guest (Payer): a person sending a tip
  • Provider (Recipient): a registered user receiving tips (e.g., barber, bartender, etc.)

3. Tips are voluntary

  • Tips are voluntary and made at the Guest’s discretion.
  • The Service does not guarantee any particular result, income, or availability.

4. Payments and payouts

  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe / Paysera). We do not store full card details.
  • Payouts to Providers are executed via third-party transfer services (e.g., Paysera Transfer).
  • Bank and provider fees may apply. Any applicable fixed bank transfer fee is shown before withdrawal.

5. Refunds, chargebacks, disputes

  • Refunds/chargebacks may reduce the Provider’s balance, including TaxPiggy if applicable.
  • If a payment provider reverses a transaction, balances can be adjusted accordingly.

6. Provider obligations (taxes, compliance)

  • Providers are solely responsible for declaring and paying taxes and complying with local laws.
  • TaxPiggy is an optional wallet feature intended to help set aside funds for taxes and potential refunds; it does not constitute tax advice.

7. Account and security

  • Providers must keep credentials secure and use accurate payout information.
  • Email verification may be required to enable receiving tips.

8. Prohibited use

  • No fraud, laundering, illegal content, impersonation, or violation of payment provider rules.
  • We may suspend accounts and/or refuse service if misuse is suspected.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or issues caused by third-party payment/transfer providers, network failures, or user actions.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The current version is always available on this page.
